KEYNOTES, TRAINING & WORKSHOPS

• ECO VILLAGE DESIGN

The Ecovillage Design Cards illustrate and distill years of experimentation and learning within the Global Ecovillage Network, and our commitment to spreading community-led pathways to regeneration and thriving on planet Earth.

The cards are divided into five groups - four dimensions of sustainability (social, culture, ecology and economy) arranged around one central path (the process of transformation). Together, they make up a tool for play, reflection, dialogue, learning, research and design - for individuals, organisations and communities.

During this empowering workshop you will receive inspiration and guidelines for some ways of using the cards, and will have opportunity to experience their power. You will be able to take this tool into your life in order to map the status quo and identify leverage points for future development.

• FUTURE MODELS

We will have futurologists provide an illustrative glimpse into what is coming about in terms of social tools & technology which may dramatically accelerate the idealised world of the global ecovillage in ways never before never thought possible.

• COLLECTIVE PURPOSE

Often, in community, we tend to label and limit ourselves and others. In this workshop, we will explore how to see afresh, and sense what is emerging on the horizon of our lives. Drawing on Kosha and Robin’s extensive experience of living in community we will create a highly experiential session that will help you navigate and grow beyond the ordinary.

ACCOUNTING FOR GOOD

Ending Money & Creating Resilient Communities

pospi is a career web developer now working with blockchain, Holochain and other distributed systems to build "resource economies"- economies based on what's real.

He has previously built systems for preventing the trade of conflict stones in the global diamond supply chain, and worked on other "track and trace" blockchain software across a variety of industries.

Having found these "top-down" approaches to be coarse, cumbersome, mostly extractive and profit-motivated; he is currently engaged in creating software that empowers grassroots organisations in coordinating their own localised, sustainable and ethical production practises— practises they believe can one day become the new norm.

Some say that it is beauty that will transform our world, that it's the salve to soothe and smooth our wilderness adventures in the changing VUCA atmospheres of our times... VUCA standing for: Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity.

The yearning for that elusive exquisite experience of those moments of beauty is a multi-trillion groundswell economy fueled by at least 4 accelerating forces of: psychology, neurobiology, technology and pharmacology ... and in fact holds the key to living better happier, healthier, wealthier lives.
Janet's presentation will be a series of inspiring, motivating and enlightening  segueways.

"Our Lives Are A Gift, And It's Up To Us What We Do With Them That Shapes The Legacy, Our Footprints, Fractals and Tracks That Follow Us ... Life Is For-giving"
